At Thuto Teach, our mission is to equip every preschool, along with its teachers and caregivers, with the necessary tools, resources, and skills to fulfill their passion for nurturing and educating children to reach their fullest potential with confidence.
In addition to supporting educational growth, we are also committed to empowering women by helping them start and sustain their own Early Childhood Development (ECD) centers, thus fostering small business creation within their communities.
We offer practical workshops focused on key aspects of Early Childhood Development, including Fine Motor Skills, Gross Motor Skills, Movement, Music, Repetition Charts, and Daily Routines. We emphasize the significance of these skills in a child’s development. Additionally, we conduct workshops on the Early Learning Development Areas as outlined by the Department of Education’s National Curriculum Framework, alongside a Health, Safety, and First Aid for ECD Level 1 course.
Our approach is dynamic; we continually develop new materials and workshops by listening to and addressing the needs observed in ECD centers. Since our inception, we have trained over 300 educators and caregivers. Our products are designed with ECD principles and learning-through-play in mind. We go back to basics to lay a solid foundation. Our mats, for instance, are strong, durable, non-toxic, and functional. They are versatile, featuring a teaching side compatible with whiteboard markers for easy write-and-wipe use, and a reverse side designed as a chalkboard.
Understanding that infrastructure can often be a challenge for ECD facilities, we meet educators where they are, training them on-site to overcome environmental limitations. In an ideal world, every school would have perfect facilities, but the reality is different. These schools face daily challenges that demand practical and efficient solutions, not just prescribed legislation. From our observations, both children and teachers show a profound passion for making a difference. It is our responsibility to support them in realizing their initiatives, meeting them at their level, understanding their unique needs, and providing them with the tools to help both teachers and pupils achieve their highest potential.

Training
Basic ECD Training
We provide a comprehensive 1-Day Workshop designed to enhance foundational skills in early childhood education. This training covers essential topics such as fine and gross motor development, movement activities, storytelling, singing/music, and the vital role of establishing routines.
Participants will receive a detailed Training Manual, complete with themes and engaging activities that can be directly applied in the classroom. This workshop is crafted to equip educators with practical tools and creative ideas to enrich their teaching practices and stimulate development in young learners.

ELDA Workshop
We offer a focused 1-Day ELDA Workshop, specifically designed to align with the Early Learning Development Areas as outlined by the Department of Education’s National Curriculum Framework. This workshop provides a hands-on exploration of the six ELDAs, delving into their distinct objectives and how they can be effectively implemented in educational settings.
Participants will receive a comprehensive Training Manual, and upon completion of the workshop, they will be awarded a certificate of attendance, affirming their enhanced understanding and readiness to apply these critical educational principles in their teaching practices..

NQF Level 4 Training
We offer an 18-month qualification course that upon graduation includes qualification and certification in ECD Level 4, First Aid and Fire Safety in ECD, Moderator and Assessor.
The course includes Learning Material Starter Pack, plus a Classroom Starter Pack.
NQF Level 5 Training
We offer a 24-month qualification course that upon graduation includes accreditation and certification in ECD Level 5, First Aid and Fire Safety in ECD, Moderator, Assessor and Facilitator.

Skills Program
We offer a 6-month Skills Program (13 unit standards 107 credits towards Level 4) to those who wish to enter or obtain recognition at an entry-level of ECD.
